Geographically, En Gedi is on the west side of the Dead Sea and was allotted to the tribe of Judah in Joshua 15; one of the only two freshwater springs in the region. Solomon referenced his lover to a cluster of Henna blossoms from En Gedi in Song of Solomon. Most notably, in 1 Samuel David fled from Saul, encountered God, cut off part of Saul’s robe, and found rest all in the caves of En Gedi. This inspired us to dream of one day having a place like En Gedi for couples to rest, recharge, and reconnect.

 

Nestled into the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Mountainburg, AR. you will find an En Gedi-like space. A 500 sqft fully furnished upstairs apartment in our detached garage. Situated on 3 acres surrounded by multi-hundred-acre family farms where deer roam daily, bird’s songs greet you in the morning, and fireflies beg to be captured at night. The queen-sized bed, complete kitchen, travertine tiled shower, and peaceful setting invite you to leave the world behind you and just be where your feet are for as long as you are here.
